What To Expect
Pick Up: Prepare for an exhilarating day as we pick you up in an open off-road jeep between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. from your specified accommodation. Our journey begins with the first stop in the south of Koh Samui, where we’ll gather all participants step by step until the entire travel group is complete.
Hin Ta & Hin Yai: Our first destination is the famous Grandfather and Grandmother’s Rock in the south. These bizarre rock formations resemble male and female genitalia. Our multilingual and trained tour guides will share fascinating information about their prehistory on-site.
Mummified Monk: Gain insight into Thai culture with a visit to the mummified monk, Luong Pordaeng, who passed away in 1973 in a meditative sitting position. Despite over 30 years since his death, the body shows minimal signs of decay and is displayed in a glass case at Wat Khunaram in the south of the island.
Waterfall: Next, we’ll visit the breathtaking Na Muang Waterfall, one of Koh Samui’s most spectacular waterfalls. You can swim and relax amidst the picturesque tropical setting, which has been used for filming on several occasions.
Lunch: Venturing into the Samui mountains with our 4×4 off-road jeep, we’ll take you to a beautiful mountain restaurant offering a stunning view of the coconut island. Enjoy a delicious and extensive lunch with a variety of options to suit every taste.
Magic Garden: After a satisfying lunch, we’ll head up to 600 meters above sea level to visit the unique Magic Garden in the mountains of Koh Samui. Admire the hand-carved stone sculptures, figures, and other objects exhibited by the 77-year-old owner in 1976.
Highest Point: Climbing even higher, we’ll reach the island’s highest point at the well-known observation deck and temple, Wat Teepangkorn, at 635 meters. Enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the island and learn about rubber tree harvesting.
Drop Off: Around 5:00 p.m., we’ll drive through the bush trail and guide you back to your designated accommodation. One by one, we’ll drop off all participants of the day trip, ensuring everyone reaches their lodgings safely.
