Cancellation Policy

Any individual who engages in a legal transaction that is mainly not related to their commercial or independent professional activity is considered a consumer.

Your Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel this activity booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled booking date, as stated in § 3 of the terms and conditions. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must send a clear statement to us (via email with the subject “Cancellation” and your “Order #”) at [email protected] indicating your decision to cancel the activity booking. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send the notification of cancellation before the deadline.

Our Cancellation Rights

As much as we value every booking and strive to deliver a seamless experience, we would like to inform our customers that we (Samui Island Adventures) as a company, reserve the right to cancel your activity booking within 48 hours of the scheduled booking date. This decision will be made under specific circumstances and with the utmost consideration for the safety, well-being, and overall experience of our customers.

There are certain situations beyond our control that may necessitate the cancellation of a booking. These reasons may include, but are not limited to:

1. Adverse Weather Conditions: In the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen natural disasters that could jeopardise the safety of our participants, our company may be compelled to cancel the activity. The safety of our customers is our top priority, and we will not compromise on this matter.

2. Unsuitable Behaviour: Our company maintains a commitment to providing a respectful and enjoyable environment for all participants. In case of disruptive or unsafe behaviour exhibited by any participant, we reserve the right to cancel their booking to ensure the safety and comfort of other participants and staff.

3. Unforeseen Circumstances: Certain unforeseen circumstances, such as sudden unavailability of essential equipment or external factors beyond our control, may arise, leading to the cancellation of a booking. While we make every effort to avoid such situations, they may occasionally occur.

Should we find it necessary to cancel a booking for any of the reasons mentioned above, we assure you that we will do so only after careful evaluation of the situation and exploring all available alternatives. We understand that cancellations can be disappointing, and in such cases, we will make every effort to offer suitable alternatives, reschedule the activity, or provide a full refund to the affected customers.

Please be assured that our intention to cancel any booking is never taken lightly, and we will always prioritise the best interests of our customers. In such rare instances, we will promptly communicate the cancellation via email, providing all necessary details and options for rescheduling or refunding.

Consequences of Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, we are obliged to refund all payments received from you, except for any transaction, exchange or processing fees. We will do so immediately and no later than 3 working days after receiving notification of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same payment method that you used in the original transaction for the refund, unless we have expressly agreed with you otherwise.
