Discover the rich cultural heritage of Koh Samui on our full-day temple excursion. Here’s what you can expect:

Pick Up: Between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., we’ll pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle from your accommodation. We’ll then head to the first stop of the trip in the east of Koh Samui, gradually gathering all participants for the day.

Big Buddha: Admire the impressive 12-meter-high Big Buddha, an iconic landmark of Koh Samui, located on the small island of Koh Fan connected by a bridge. Enjoy the breathtaking coastal view and the Bangrak pier from this majestic site.

Wat Plai Laem: Explore the largest Buddhist temple complex on the island, showcasing Guanyin, the goddess of mercy and compassion. Discover the beautiful blend of Chinese-Thai beliefs through the temple’s artistic themes and architecture, steeped in centuries-old traditions.

Wat Bo Phuttharam: Witness the grand statue of the praying monk Luang Phor Thuad, situated on a two-tiered structure above a serene man-made lake. This legendary monk’s miraculous story will captivate you, reflecting the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.

White Temple: Find peace and solitude as you explore this hidden gem of a temple. The tranquil surroundings offer a perfect setting for meditation and contemplation, while traditional monks living here contribute to the serene ambience.

Snake Temple: Immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of this temple, adorned with impressive terracotta-coloured and dark burgundy walls. The intricate murals and carvings depict magical scenes, adding to the temple’s captivating charm.

Lunch: At a beachfront restaurant in the south of Coconut Island, relish a delectable traditional Thai lunch with stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand. Savour dishes like Fried Chicken, Vegetable Oyster Sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, and seasonal fruits.

Guan Yu: Marvel at the 16-meter bronze war statue at the Guan Yu Shrine, celebrating Chinese heritage. This impressive temple complex with its souvenir stands and restaurants represents an ode to Chinese culture on the island.

Golden Pagoda: Delight in the beauty of the Laem Sor Pagoda, featuring Srivijaya art. Built by the Buddhist monk Luang Phor Dang Tisso, the pagoda’s unique architectural style situated by the sea adds to its charm.

Baby Buddha Jaidee: This temple area boasts the best view of Koh Samui. Located on a hill at the end of Bang Kao Beach in the south, the Khao Chedi (Baby Buddha Jaidee) provides a stunning vista of Bang Kao Bay and the neighbouring islands of Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum.

Drop Off: Around 3:45 p.m., once all participants are back in the vehicle, we’ll guide you back to your accommodation. Each participant will be dropped off one by one until the entire tour group reaches their accommodations.
